[Review] Nodame Cantabile
A must-read manga if you like classical music. Even if you don't like classical music, this manga will make you like it. This manga sparked the Chiaki-senpai syndrome and was so popular that it was adapted into an anime and a drama. It was even remade into a Korean drama called 'Tomorrow's Cantabile', but if you're going to watch that, you might as well just watch the original. The new edition includes a wedding scene between Nodame and Chiaki that wasn't in the old edition. Sorry if you were expecting a romance-filled wedding scene, but their wedding is also typically 'Nodame-esque'. Noda Megumi's name itself sounds hopeless, as 'Nodame' is a combination of the English word 'NO' and the Japanese word 'dame' (meaning 'no good' or 'useless'). In other words, she's a mess. But her incredible piano skills are undeniable. This manga depicts the journey of Nodame, who could have remained a piano prodigy, as she navigates college life, meets the wonderful Chiaki-senpai who is great at piano, violin, and even better at conducting, and grows to become the world's best pianist. Chiaki-senpai is always cool.

I wonder how many people who've read this would say it's not fun~~ It's really enjoyable. But I didn't know there was a scene like that in the new edition. I should re-read it with the new edition ^^
