I also keep accidentally joining things and then have to go back and unsubscribe later, which is really inconvenient. I used to have notifications turned off for auto-board sign-ups after 2 hours of play, so I ended up with a lot of weird sign-ups that were a pain to remove. They should at least show a description or a confirmation window... I hope they add something soon.
