Arcane Review (No Spoilers)

The anime received rave reviews when it was released, but I didn't have Netflix back then, and due to the adult re-verification issue, I only got to watch it now. When I had no prior information, I thought the conflict between Jinx and Vi was the main focus, but it turned out to be a bit different from what I expected. It was surprising how many LoL champions appeared. And there were some minor differences from what I thought or knew about the established lore. Especially Jinx, one of the main characters, I thought she'd be a chaotic character like DC's Harley Quinn, but in this work, it felt a bit unfamiliar to see her struggling with a whole spectrum of mental health issues. The story was quite somber. However, the unpredictable twists and the intertwined narratives of the characters created a complex yet easy-to-understand and exciting progression. The visuals were stunningly brilliant, and with such a diverse cast of LoL champions appearing, I was surprised and delighted, thinking, 'Wait, they're in this too? No way, even they show up?' I wondered if the increasing number of main characters would make it difficult to drive the story forward, but it turned out to be an unfounded concern, leaving me with a lingering impression by the end.
