It feels like a waste to spend money on it.. and I don't really find myself looking for it. Although, if I get back into it, I feel like I'll spend a ton.. I've saved up 1100 now, but it's really just a tiny bit from tiny bits..

They say every little bit helps. Gathering 1100 of them means your effort wasn't in vain. Don't push yourself too hard, just enjoy it at your own pace.

Hmm.. if you just log in mindlessly every day, you'll accumulate tens of thousands of currency. By then, it feels like more work to spend it before it expires out of regret.
