When his father, Choi Pil-soo, is framed for the murder of Colonel Cha Seung-hoo 10 years prior and sentenced to death, Choi Do-hyun becomes a lawyer to prove his father's innocence and file for a retrial. During his legal practice, he defends Han Jong-goo, the suspect in a construction site murder case that occurred five years ago, and secures an acquittal. However, it's revealed that the current murder cases, which seemed unrelated, are actually connected to the 'Colonel Cha Seung-hoo murder case' from 10 years ago and a powerful entity like the Defense Security Command.
