[UK Drama Rec] Miranda

Since many of you enjoyed my last recommendation for the US sitcom Modern Family, I'm excited to bring you a UK comedy this time! If you're looking for something to watch with your brain turned off, I highly recommend Miranda. If the humor clicks with you, you'll be laughing the whole way through. It has a bit of a Deadpool-esque vibe, so it can be polarizing, but as a sitcom lover, I absolutely adored it. Things like her talking to the camera/audience, the slapstick comedy, and the chaotic, rambling episodes are surprisingly memorable. It's like realizing a dad joke way too late and laughing at how absurd it is. There are 3 seasons, and each episode is about 30 minutes long, making it a perfect companion for meals. What's interesting is that the actress playing Miranda is actually named Miranda and is reportedly from a prestigious/upper-class British family. I heard she pursued acting because she couldn't resist her comedic ambitions, but it's been a while since I read that, so my memory is a bit hazy.
