[Review] Dandadan

A manga that shocked me when I heard it featured an old lady, without even knowing the plot. Turns out, it's true. From the first chapter, a lot of crude gags are thrown around, so I bet many people probably dropped it because they couldn't handle the crude humor. The protagonist, Ayase Momo, was a high school girl who believed ghosts existed. She makes a bet with Takakura Ken, who believes in aliens, to prove the existence of what each of them believes in. Thus, Momo enters an abandoned building where aliens are rumored to appear, and is captured by the Serpoian. The Serpoians are a species composed only of males, and they try to have relations with Momo, a female, for reproduction. Meanwhile, Ken enters an abandoned tunnel where ghosts are rumored to appear and meets Turbo Grandma, and after breaking the rule of 'don't run away,' his bananas and testicles are taken away. Momo was about to be taken by the Serpoian, but suddenly uses her psychic powers to escape from them. This manga could have been more popular if it weren't for the crude gags. It's quite polarizing, more than you might expect.
