Words I Want to Erase (Original Poem)
There are words that rise up to my throat, But I swallow them back down. There was hesitation in that moment, But it's okay. There are words I want to speak out loud, And then swallow back again. There was embarrassment in that moment, But it's okay. However, there are white lies That I must eventually tell. I fear the moment they will come, And I just want to erase even those.
