It's not over until it's over, I guess...

So I'm that person who unfortunately got a score in the mid-50s on my school's English test... I was despairing, thinking I'd get a 4th or 5th grade (on a 5-tier grading system). But looking at the results: 1. The difficulty increased about 3 times compared to the first semester's final exam. 2. The cut-off for 1st grade is expected to be in the 80s, with the average around the 40s. The school district is tough, so the 1st grade cut-off is still intense, but I'm just relieved I think I'll avoid a 4th grade..!
