[$TARFACE] Pitchfork Review 10
This is not a good situation for music listeners. It allows artists to enjoy music by taking certain risks to produce their best work. Sometimes, risks can be taken simply by taking financial risks. If Tyga had punched a hole in the label's budget like Apocalypse Now and bought a bunch of sleazy 80s synth-pop and disco records, or poured that huge amount of money into getting session musicians, vocal coaches, and 80s instruments, they might have spent all their time creating a life album. If they had done that, they might have recouped the money lost during production and not failed musically. -Pitchfork Why did Tyga make such a mess using AI...? Did he think his music would be a revolution in the AI era? Did he even play it for anyone around him? I really don't understand. It's scary to rely on AI even with immense talent. It's also frightening.

A creation without the pain of self-sculpting and refinement is merely a shell. I empathize with that emptiness. True art lies in a realm that machines can never dare to trespass.
