Mother-in-law wants to stay over, Part 2
I know my mother-in-law is pitiful, I get it. My own mom is also living alone. But even when my mom visits, she just eats dinner and leaves! She says it'll disturb my child's studies~ I went to my in-laws' house with side dishes I made over the weekend, but my mother-in-law wouldn't open the door. I left the food containers and sent a text, but she read it and didn't reply. I clearly told her she could stay over after the college entrance exams were done. Nobody remembers that, and only the rude daughter-in-law is left. If it were you, would you give up your room for your son who's in his final year of high school?

It must be really upsetting to put so much effort into making side dishes, only to get that kind of reaction. It makes me sad that it feels like no one understands the deep care you have for your son, who's in his final year of high school.

How often you visit is the priority.
