Today's Delicious Lunch: Sweet and Sour Pork with Glutinous Rice Flour and Beef Brisket Jjajangmyeon (1 Serving)

For lunch today, I ordered and ate sweet and sour pork with glutinous rice flour and beef brisket jjajangmyeon (1 serving) at a Chinese restaurant. When the sweet and sour pork came out first, I was touched by the owner's thoughtfulness in giving me the sauce separately, even though I didn't ask for it to be on the side. The coating was crispy the moment I took a bite, followed by the chewy stickiness characteristic of glutinous rice flour. The meat was juicy and tender. Next came the beef brisket jjajangmyeon. Just as it was written on the menu, even though it was clearly '1 serving,' the plate size was unusually large lol. Although the size might not be apparent in the photos, the crunchy bean sprouts and savory beef brisket were piled high on top of the noodles, making me wonder if this was really a single serving haha. When I mixed it well and ate it, the rich umami of the black bean paste and the smoky savory flavor of the beef brisket spread throughout my mouth. With plenty of crunchy bean sprouts, it was fun to chew and never got boring. It was so generous, I felt like I was in a mukbang and ate until I was stuffed.
