[Steam] Two Terraria Newbies Who Know Nothing Got Wrecked...

When I play co-op games with Rukachan.. we always start from scratch, like hitting a wall with a bare head.. The 2D Minecraft Terraria was no different.. We hit a huge roadblock right from the start... How do you even start multiplayer...? It seems like there's no lobby concept.. I found out you invite through Steam friends.. I created a world and invited Rukachan from my Steam friends list.. but you were unresponsive... Actually, you create the world.. I'll join.. I did the opposite.. This time, I didn't know how to invite to the game, so you had to teach me step-by-step, and finally, we started multiplayer.. But the biggest hurdle was... neither of us had played before, so we had no clue what to do... Ugh... Leaving Rukachan with a face like the world was ending because I killed a squirrel.. First, I started digging.. As I kept digging.. it got dark and I didn't know what to do.. Should I go back up....? Even if I tried to build blocks to climb up, it felt hopeless.. Anyone want to play Terraria multiplayer on Oct 9th...? Help me!
