First off, Wuthering Waves is one of those subculture games where the female characters are really a treat to look at, and the story is quite interesting too. The early story might be a bit meh, but it gets fun once you reach chapter 2, so hang in there! For character progression, you'll mainly have Rover and Echo early on. There aren't many other options to use. It's good to pull for new dealers when they come out in new versions. For dealers, getting their exclusive weapon is also essential, so make sure to pull for it. Before you get a dealer, you can raise basic characters like Rover or Inhaler and farm just enough to not hinder your story progression or hunting. This is because Echo and Inhaler will eventually be abandoned in favor of Rover... For Echoes, the game also shows you what to level up and which Echoes are commonly used when you lose a battle or when it recommends leveling up. So, level them up accordingly, then pull for a main dealer and max them out, or after getting a dealer, pull for a support character that fits that party and raise them later. So, don't just pull randomly; it's better to pull with a party composition in mind. Of course, if you have a character you really love, pulling for them can also help you keep playing Wuthering Waves.
