Gangneung Ojukheon

After visiting Gyeongpo Lake and Gyeongpo Beach, I headed to Ojukheon. Last week, I saw Seo Jang-hoon, Lee Seo-jin, and Kim Gwang-gyu visit Ojukheon on a show, but they missed the operating hours and had to turn back. So, I decided to go myself. Ojukheon is the birthplace of Shin Saimdang and Yulgok Yi, designated as a national treasure. The name 'Ojukheon' comes from the native black bamboo that grows there. Overall, it was clean, grand, and exceptionally well-maintained, so much so that I even searched online when I got home to see if there was a special foundation managing it. It's managed by Gangneung City, so they must have a solid budget. There are many beautifully maintained places all over the country. It makes me feel the rapid progress of our country becoming a developed nation. The Ojukheon Museum is also worth seeing, and the forest on the right side of the entrance path is truly beautiful. It's a place you won't regret visiting. If you're near Gangneung, I highly recommend stopping by. I guess Gangneung City isn't sponsoring me lol
