It's just a story about a shut-in otaku traveling to another world. It's exactly like my shut-in otaku colleague traveling to another world, but the otaku in the manga is a masochist, and my colleague isn't really like that, so he doesn't want to talk about this manga at all. He even spoiled it, saying the main character awakens AV actor skills. Uh...

I remember when I first saw the title of this anime as a kid, I hesitated for a long time before clicking on it because the name sounded a lot like BL (X). In the first episode, the female protagonist accidentally gets lost and walks into a classroom, which turns out to be the Host Club from Ouran! There are 6 handsome guys led by the male protagonist (｡•o•｡∩). Then, because the protagonist accidentally breaks a very expensive vase and looks a bit disheveled, she's mistaken for a boy and "forced" to join the Host Club. 🤔 It feels like people with different personalities unexpectedly create sparks, and I'm actually an all-protagonist supporter ❤️ The Host Club members include: the prince type, the cool type, the twins, the shota type, and the quiet type (?). 👉🏻👈🏻 The story mainly revolves around the events happening in the Host Club and introduces the past stories of each character. My favorite is the shota-type Honey-senpai. He looks cute, loves cake and dolls, but he's actually maxed out in combat power(´･д･`) – a super reverse charm. The protagonist is also a very hardworking child🥲 with great values.. she's particularly pitiable. Overall, this show is great🤧 but I've only watched the anime. The manga ending came out a long time ago and I still haven't read it haha 🌞 I'll check it out later~

The original work is a manga by Kaisei Nanai, and the anime adaptation has announced that it will begin airing every Sunday at 02:00 (JST) starting January 10, 2027. Young executive Kirigaya Tsuyoshi of a yakuza organization is assigned to take care of the boss's daughter, Washizu Rise. He initially thought Rise was a quiet and well-behaved young lady, but unexpectedly, she has a special 'weakness fetish'! This so-called weakness fetish (personally named by Rise herself 🤣) is a preference for seeing strong, reliable people show their vulnerable side. Kirigaya, who appears fierce but actually has a surprising contrasting personality, becomes the focus of Rise's attention, and the two gradually develop a somewhat peculiar romantic comedy. CVs Washizu Rise: Hisako Kanemoto Kirigaya Tsuyoshi: Chihiro Kobayashi I checked the reviews from Japanese readers, and overall, they were quite positive! Many praised the unique fetish setting of the heroine and the interesting contrasting interactions between the two. While the theme is a bit unusual, some readers felt the work wasn't vulgar but rather quite cute. Adding it to my watchlist for next January 😁

A comedic battle series, it's a Chinese webcomic. This is highly recommended for those who dislike romance plots. I'm not sure if it'll be very gory, as I'm quite immune to that aspect of anime and tend to be indifferent. The whole story is about training, and the protagonist needs negative emotion points to draw prizes. Let me show you the art of conversation ٩(๑•̀ω•́๑)و The third season is currently airing, and the art style has been consistently good. It's just that Chinese webcomics tend to like changing the protagonist's hair color, which I find a bit unusual. I've also watched some well-known ones like 'The Outcast', 'Hitori no Shita', 'Soul Land', and 'Rakshasa Street', but 'Please Spare Me!' is god-tier for me; no other Chinese webcomic can surpass it. However, it varies from person to person, as I personally can't stand it when the protagonist is too serious. The after-effect after watching might be that when someone says they're thirsty, I'll think of saying, 'There's no water, how about you eat some snow?' (x)

The Bang Dream anime series features many different bands and characters. If you play rhythm games or follow it, you might know them. The first season of the anime focuses on the five high school girls of Poppin' Party: Kasumi, Arisa, Tae, Rimi, and Saaya. It tells the story of their first year of high school, from not knowing each other to forming a band. I think the art style could be improved, but the overall content is pretty good, so I recommend everyone to watch it!

The story is about a man who, when he sleeps, the perceived time in his dreams gradually increases from one day to two days, three days... a week, a month. He eventually goes to a doctor for help. At this time, the doctor also has a female cancer patient who doesn't want to die. The patient suffering from the long dream is placed under the doctor's observation. He discovers that this person's brain waves during dreaming are tens of times faster than those of a normal person dreaming. And seeing his eyes darting rapidly, the shocked doctor immediately wakes him up. When the patient wakes up, in just a few minutes, a year has passed in his dream. He's almost unrecognizable to the doctor, and he barely remembers why he's in the hospital. After a few weeks, the patient is emaciated, and the time in his dreams has reached decades or even centuries. He even starts to see the female cancer patient as his wife. Finally, he turns to dust. The doctor studies his ashes and discovers something, whether a new substance or cell, he doesn't know. He then gives it to the cancer patient, who fears death. She also begins to experience long dreams and starts to find hope in life. But... eventually, she becomes mentally exhausted from this and meets the same fate as the man. Is it possible that even as dust, he's still dreaming? I think there are two ways to view 'Long Dream'. One is the question of whether living eternally is truly a good thing. The other is the consequence of escaping reality and dreaming all day, leading to a ruined life. These are my own two interpretations. It might be overthinking it 🤣, but that's how I see it. Junji Ito wouldn't likely write just ordinary horror stories. Readers would get bored easily that way. He focuses more on the 'moral' and 'humanity' of the characters.

I recall 'Vow and Constraint' only appearing for two characters in the TV version. The first is Gon. When facing Neferpitou, he vowed that if he could defeat her, he'd be willing to lose anything. This vow's price, 'I don't care what I lose,' granted him immense power. This strength made Neferpitou, who had previously defeated Kite with a smile, feel fear for the first time. She thought this power could defeat Meruem (the Ant King). However, the Ant King grew stronger after his rebirth, so it's unclear who would win between this ability and the evolved Ant King. The second is Kurapika. His abilities are five in total, corresponding to his five fingers. When his eyes turn scarlet, he becomes a specialist, allowing him to utilize Nen abilities from all categories. To defeat the Phantom Troupe, he felt this power wasn't enough. He made a vow that this power could only be used against the Phantom Troupe; using it on others might shorten his lifespan (?). This greatly enhanced his Nen abilities. However, Hunter x Hunter emphasizes equivalent exchange: the greater your price, the greater your power. Clearly, his ability isn't as strong as Gon's, but his survival rate is higher. His vow and constraint involve the 'Binding Chain' on his middle finger, which prevents Phantom Troupe members he binds from using Nen (putting them in 'Zetsu' state) and immobilizes them. Using it on others would result in immediate death by the 'Judgment Chain' on his pinky finger. In his first fight, he single-handedly defeated Uvogin. He also had the ability to hold the leader (Chrollo) hostage (holding the leader hostage doesn't necessarily mean he's stronger, as Chrollo's ability requires 'planning' to fully utilize his 'Book of Secrets' ability). As a side note, after Chrollo used his ability on Chiyou, she died a few months later. His teammates jokingly called it the 'Death Note.' I found this part hilarious, it's a great gag. But thinking about it,

The original work is a comedy manga serialized by Yajima on social media platforms since 2023, later published in tankobon volumes, and adapted into a TV anime in 2024 with 48 episodes, each about 90 seconds long. The story follows an ordinary salaryman who suddenly transmigrates into a cute kitten one day, only to be adopted by his notoriously strict company president and named 'Kotaro,' thus beginning a life of being spoiled rotten by the president! I've been following this series since the manga serialization, so I guess I'm an old fan 🤣 Kotaro is just super adorable! Especially his fur color, which is exactly my favorite type – colored fur on his back, a white belly, and wearing white socks (maybe it's also because my own cat has a similar coloring 😆 I also really love the author's comedic direction. Even though Kotaro is a cute kitten, an uncle's soul performing the same actions often appears next to him. Even when he's sleeping, an uncle wearing pajamas and without glasses appears, which is both annoying and hilarious 🤣 Besides the president, there's also the neighbor uncle voiced by Tsune-san, who also owns a chubby orange cat and is a fellow cat slave! Lastly, I'll share a fun anecdote. When the anime adaptation was announced, I recommended it to a friend, telling them they could watch it. My friend, after seeing the premise, complained: Isn't this the kind of show where an uncle turns into a cat and then leers at women with old-fashioned fan service scenes? I immediately told him: No, there are no female characters like that. There's only the uncle in this 🤣

The anime adaptation of Ryoon's campus romantic comedy manga announced yesterday (10/15) that it will begin airing every week at 00:26 (JST) starting January 8, 2027. The story follows Kuroki, an ordinary high school student with little presence, who, after changing seats at the start of the new semester, finds that his deskmate is the rumored "Jirai Kei girl" of the class, Jihara Mai! Jihara has a beautiful appearance but always seems gloomy and unapproachable, leading classmates to believe she's a dangerous person best left alone. However, upon actually interacting with her, Kuroki discovers she's nothing like the rumors suggest! Jihara is actually straightforward, a bit airheaded, and loves cats and dumplings! As the two grow closer, Kuroki continuously uncovers surprising and cute sides to her. CVs Jihara Mai: Sayumi Suzushiro Kuroki: Kazuki Ura Iwakura Chinatsu: Maaya Uchida Hibiya: Tomokazu Sugita Kazami: Daisuke Ono Since its serialization in 2021, this work has gained considerable popularity, with cumulative views on GANMA! exceeding 750 million! I haven't read the original work, but I really like the setting where the outward appearance contrasts with the actual personality. Also, after a preliminary check, it seems the romantic relationship is relatively straightforward with no obvious harem tendencies, so I can add it to my watchlist for now 😆
