Info Share | "Are You a Jirai Kei Girl? Jihara-san" Anime to Premiere January 8, 2027

The anime adaptation of Ryoon's campus romantic comedy manga announced yesterday (10/15) that it will begin airing every week at 00:26 (JST) starting January 8, 2027. The story follows Kuroki, an ordinary high school student with little presence, who, after changing seats at the start of the new semester, finds that his deskmate is the rumored "Jirai Kei girl" of the class, Jihara Mai! Jihara has a beautiful appearance but always seems gloomy and unapproachable, leading classmates to believe she's a dangerous person best left alone. However, upon actually interacting with her, Kuroki discovers she's nothing like the rumors suggest! Jihara is actually straightforward, a bit airheaded, and loves cats and dumplings! As the two grow closer, Kuroki continuously uncovers surprising and cute sides to her. CVs Jihara Mai: Sayumi Suzushiro Kuroki: Kazuki Ura Iwakura Chinatsu: Maaya Uchida Hibiya: Tomokazu Sugita Kazami: Daisuke Ono Since its serialization in 2021, this work has gained considerable popularity, with cumulative views on GANMA! exceeding 750 million! I haven't read the original work, but I really like the setting where the outward appearance contrasts with the actual personality. Also, after a preliminary check, it seems the romantic relationship is relatively straightforward with no obvious harem tendencies, so I can add it to my watchlist for now 😆
