New Commission
You can indeed earn gems, but some surveys are super long. So tiring and troublesome.

Good night
We're practicing relays in PE class tomorrow, and I still have 100 reps to do. My legs~~~~~ Oh well, tomorrow's problem is tomorrow's problem. Time to sleep.

Follow-up Post
Had a gastrointestinal endoscopy on 10/13. My mom said there weren't any major issues, just a few small blisters. On one hand, I'm relieved there's nothing serious. On the other hand, I worry if there might be other illnesses. Sometimes going to the doctor feels like such a hassle and costs money, but then I think about how neglecting things can lead to major illnesses. My dad passed away like that. It's really a tough choice. I guess it's best to just buy peace of mind knowing my body is okay!

Commission
They actually added a commission board now. The amount of gems given is quite a lot. It's just filling out some surveys. Seems pretty good.

From 60 to 108: Chinese Traditional Birthday Celebrations You Didn't Know
Starting from age 60, each significant birthday marks the accumulation and blessings of different life stages. Understanding these birthday names allows us to feel the fortune and preciousness of elders' journeys. ❤️60th Birthday (Huajia Shou): A full cycle of the sexagenary cycle, marking the age when one can officially celebrate their birthday. ❤️66th Birthday (Liuliu Shou): Symbolizing 'smooth sailing in all sixes,' signifying a smooth life. ❤️70th Birthday (Guxi Shou): Originating from 'At seventy, rare in life,' a significant milestone for longevity. ❤️73rd & 84th Birthdays (Kan'er Nian): Considered critical years in folk tradition, best to celebrate low-key and pray for peace. ❤️77th Birthday (Xishou): The traditional character for 'joy' (喜) resembles seventy-seven, representing happiness. ❤️80th Birthday (Zhangchao Shou): In ancient times, an 80-year-old could hold a staff and enter the court, symbolizing advanced age and virtue. ❤️88th Birthday (Mishou): The character for 'rice' (米) breaks down into eighty-eight, signifying abundance. ❤️90th Birthday (Shangshou): A rare achievement in life, symbolizing long life and good health. ❤️99th Birthday (Baishou): The character for 'hundred' (百) minus one horizontal stroke becomes 'white' (白), symbolizing eternity. ❤️100th Birthday (Qiyi Shou): A stage of life's fulfillment, a precious symbol of longevity. ❤️108th Birthday (Chashou): The character for 'tea' (茶) breaks down into twenty (廿), eight (八), ten (十), and eight (八), totaling 108, representing a rare advanced age. Each age carries different cultural meanings. The most important aspect of celebrating a birthday isn't the formality, but the gathering of family, accompanying elders, and sharing moments of health and happiness. Customs may vary by region; maintaining respect and blessings is the most precious sentiment. While 'Huajia' and 'Guxi' are common knowledge, I have no idea what the birthdays after 70 are called, and I'll probably forget them after reading this anyway 😆
