On January 15th, I was hit by a car and my electric bike flipped and slid. The phone mount was fine, the phone was fine, it didn't fall off. My knee injury hasn't healed yet. When I first got into Fullmetal Alchemist, it was when it was airing on TV. So I watched it sporadically, catching episodes here and there. Later, I heard that FMA had an old anime version and a new one. And just recently, I finally had the time to finish the new anime. I realized that what I watched as a kid was the old version, and it's really different~ Recently, with the FMA movie being re-released on the big screen, it reminded me of my past love for FMA. And while thinking about whether to buy some merchandise to collect, I suddenly realized. I've actually never even read the original manga 😂😂😂 I suddenly feel like a super unqualified FMA fan 😂 (Gotta go find it and catch up now)

Finished my 8 AM to 5 PM shift and then had to rush to a company-assigned evening class that goes until 10 PM. After work, I had to rush to drive to the class in Zhongli. The most annoying part was not finding parking. After circling for a long time, I finally found a parking lot a bit further away. By the time I got there, I was already 20 minutes late and had to take an hour off. I could have cried. During class, I could hear someone snoring behind me. Working and studying is really tough. Everyone's completely worn out.

I watched episode 2 at lunch today, and when I opened the fridge at home tonight, I found some discounted salmon I bought at the supermarket earlier. So, on a whim, I decided to make this dish. Here's the recipe for one serving: 🛒 Ingredients • Main: 1 salmon fillet, half a pack of Shimeji mushrooms (or oyster mushrooms). • Sides: 1/4 onion, 1/3 carrot. • Seasonings: 1 knob of butter, cooking sake (as needed), half a crushed bouillon cube, a pinch of salt, a pinch of black pepper, Italian herbs. 🍳 Cooking Steps 1. Prepare the salmon: After washing the salmon, pour cooking sake evenly on both sides and rub with salt. Let it marinate for 5-10 minutes. Once moisture seeps out onto the surface of the fish, pat it completely dry with paper towels. 2. Prepare the vegetables: Wash and finely julienne the onion and carrot. Trim the roots off the Shimeji mushrooms and separate them by hand. 3. Wrap in foil: Tear off a sheet of aluminum foil. Place the julienned onion, carrot, and Shimeji mushrooms in the center, and sprinkle the crushed bouillon cube evenly. Place the salmon fillet on top of the vegetables, add a knob of butter, and sprinkle with black pepper and Italian herbs. Fold the edges of the aluminum foil towards the center to seal, pinching the sides tightly. Then, place it directly into a frying pan, cover with a lid, and steam-bake over medium heat for 15-20 minutes.
