Info Share | "Shota Oni!" Anime Scheduled for January 2027 Broadcast
The anime adaptation of "Shota Oni!", a BL manga by Yū Nakayama, is scheduled to broadcast in January 2027. Today (10/23), the latest autumn visual was released. The story follows Tsubaki, an elementary school student who deeply likes his childhood friend Yū, who is 6 years older than him. Having hurt Yū in the past when they were younger, Tsubaki is determined to take responsibility and make Yū happy! He strives to become a cool young man who can protect Yū. However, in Yū's eyes, Tsubaki is still just a cute little brother, often leading to Tsubaki's efforts being in vain 🤣 With a 6-year age gap and a 42cm height difference, this is a sweet and healing BL work depicting the daily life between an elementary schooler eager to grow up and a gentle high schooler. CV Tsubaki: Shinnosuke Tokudome Yū: Shuichiro Umeda I read a bit of it before and remember it being heartwarming and cute. Really looking forward to the anime! 😁

I remember seeing it in the manga too, and the older brother (?) wasn't exactly *not* conquered either.

😳😳😳 Is this like a child bride?!🤪 A 6-year age gap is fine, but a 42cm height difference is hilarious😆

I'd also like to recommend an LW webtoon: <Salvation: The Only Eternal> It's also a younger male lead (uke) x older male lead (seme) story, and it's so good 😋😋
