惜緣

Today is the last day of my vacation 😒, I have to go to work tomorrow, wake up super early and get home super late.... It's definitely freezing up in the mountains, even though it's just one day of work, it's gonna be pretty tiring.

The weather's gonna change these next few days. It'll be cold for a whole day if it rains. No wonder my hands and feet have been feeling uncomfortable...

Tomorrow is my little brother's birthday. It's rare for us to celebrate it together, so I'm taking him out for a nice meal. Even though there won't be gifts or cake, taking him out for good food is also a great idea. It's also a chance to see how he's doing living on his own. Truth is, Mom misses her little brother sometimes too, she just doesn't say it.

This morning I woke up and put away clothes I don't usually wear. Then at noon I went to McDonald's and did my laundry, since our washing machine is broken and we had to go to a laundromat. After eating and while my clothes were drying, I went to buy medicine, and it turns out my hand and foot pain was due to 'gout'.

Happy day off! My mom said I could take some time off in October, but she'll also schedule me to work, so I said okay! Earning some money is better than nothing, right? Gotta digest this swelling first, it really hurts. I know my mom is in pain too, so I gave her some anti-inflammatories to make her feel better. Even though my words always get misunderstood, I'm actually pretty easy to talk to.

Yay! It's my last day of work today, so I can have a long holiday. Mom said I've worked hard these past few months and took my sister and me out for a fancy steak dinner.

This is so frustrating (trying not to swear, it's not good), I earn money for my own life, not for extra cash to buy gifts or send them on livestreams. I know streamers need fan traffic and gifts to make money, but I haven't asked the stream to do anything specific, like sing or perform. So, just tuning in to watch is great. Yet, they keep demanding things and telling me to top up my account. Honestly, it's up to each person, but you can't force someone to spend money. Who do you think you are!? Since I'm feeling down anyway, I might as well just ignore this and go read my manga. At least that's something I enjoy. Plus, work is tiring enough, and then I have to deal with weirdos 🤔

Honestly, I hate taking selfies the most because I really can't force a smile. It's not like I intentionally put on a grumpy face, this is just how my face is, I can't help it. Also, even though I have old selfies, even if the quality is bad, at least I took them for myself. If people see them, criticize me, and then secretly take pictures to show others, isn't it better to just not take selfies anymore to avoid hearing nasty things? Although most people advise me, 'Their mouths are their own, let them talk, don't mind them,' it's true! Anyway, I just don't like it. They can't do anything about me either.

How did a 4-day long weekend just fly by? Sigh~ Only one day left before heading back to work.
