Flying Towards the Unknown You (10)
And in the infinite distance behind them, the blue planet was quietly rising in the dawn— Like eyes from home looking back, like all unspoken attachments, like a home in the sea of stars, the first and newest coordinate, lit by love.

To You, Unknown (9)
Final Act・The First Morning in a New World The dawn broke slowly, like a letter you’re reluctant to finish. The purple sky brightened layer by layer, first rose, then apricot, and finally, the dawn surged from between two moons, turning the entire luminous flower field into flowing gold. Two couples sat side-by-side on the slope by the ship’s hatch. The four children were still fast asleep inside, their four pairs of tiny shoes lined up neatly by the door, toes pointing towards the unfamiliar, gentle sun outside the window. “Our children,” Lu Jiashu said slowly, “will grow up under two moons.” “Their first arithmetic lesson,” Bai Xiaofeng chimed in with a smile, “might have to be taught using the stars.” Ji Yiheng gazed into the distance. In the morning light, the spaceship stood quietly, faint streaks from its atmospheric entry still visible on its white hull, like a precious, opened letter. “Do you regret it?” Xia Yucheng asked, tilting her head. “Leaving that blue planet.” He thought for a moment, then answered earnestly, “I don’t know. But I know we brought the most precious thing with us.” “What?” “Each other,” he said. “Four adults, four children, exactly two couples, eight ‘each others’.” Xia Yucheng smiled and leaned her head on his shoulder. Inside the ship, the rustling sounds of the children waking up could be heard, followed by Lele’s clear shout: “Daddy! Mommy! Come in quickly—the sun is shining on our beds!” The morning breeze swept across the flower field, and thousands of luminous flowers swayed gently, making the entire spaceship gleam translucently, like a boat anchored in light. To the Unknown You (8)
The spaceship slowly descended. The dawn sky was pale purple, the clouds like silk scattered by the wind, and the ground was covered with soft tundra grass, with glowing buds at the tips of the blades. The entire plain resembled an inverted galaxy. At the moment of landing, it was as light as a feather falling into a lake. The cabin door opened. Bai Xiaofeng, holding An An's hand, was the first to step out. As the child's shoe soles touched the ground, the surrounding flower buds lit up in response, rippling outwards in circles, as if the entire planet was applauding. "Wow——" The four children's exclamations became the first human language on this planet. Xia Yuchen crouched down, stroking the glowing grass tips, and looked up to see two moons hanging side-by-side in the purple sky. She suddenly understood; they weren't here to explore the unknown— "The unknown," she whispered, "is the universe's love letter to the brave." (To be continued)

The four adults smiled at each other in the weightless darkness. In that moment, the narrow spaceship was more spacious than any house on Earth—because it was filled with each other. Act IV: Blue Window Light at the End of the Galaxy On the ninth day, the spaceship entered an uncharted star field. On the navigation screen, the destination was a planet named 'Chengxi'—'Cheng' from Xia Yuchen's name, 'Xi' from the light of dawn. It hung quietly in the star sea ahead like a sapphire inlaid with a silver ring. The planet's night side glowed with a warm halo, as if someone had lit it up for them in advance. "What is that halo...?" Xia Yuchen's voice trembled slightly. "Aurora," Ji Yiheng said with a smile, looking at the data. "The entire planet is shining for our arrival." The four children crowded in front of the porthole, their small noses fogging up the glass. "It's so beautiful," Zhouzhou whispered. "It's like the painting I did in art class where I used all my favorite colors." (To be continued)

To You, Unknown (6)
Act III・Lullaby Under the Stars On the seventh day of the voyage, an alarm blared in the early morning—a slight deviation in the engine's cooling system. Ji Yiheng and Lu Jiashu drifted into the equipment bay one after another. In the beam of their flashlights, the two fathers silently opened the inspection panel. "Our oxygen and fuel are still enough," Lu Jiashu said in a low voice, "but if the temperature keeps rising..." "I'll do it," Ji Yiheng rolled up his sleeves. "You go be with the kids, don't let them get scared." Outside the cabin was the vast darkness, and inside, the faint light. Ji Yiheng's fingers moved among the pipes, like mending a torn star chart. Sweat condensed into tiny beads in the zero gravity, circling his forehead. After an unknown amount of time, a soft song came from behind him. It was Bai Xiaofeng, leaning against the cabin door, singing a lullaby only the children could understand; while Xia Yucheng handed him a bag of warm water, transferring warmth to him through the metal. "Are the children asleep?" he asked. "They are," Xia Yucheng said. "But we have to let them know—tonight, their dads are guarding the whole ship, and when they wake up tomorrow, everything will be fine." At three in the morning, the cooling system resumed its steady hum. The four adults floated back to the main cabin and found Lele, who had woken up at some point, holding her younger siblings' hands, like a little bird with its wings spread. "Lele, why aren't you sleeping?" Bai Xiaofeng asked gently. "I'm standing guard for everyone," the girl said seriously. "Mom said that in a family, someone has to stay awake so the stars don't secretly run away." (To be continued)

Flying Towards the Unknown You (5)
At night, the four children slept like four little planets in their sleeping bags, smiles on their lips. Bai Xiaofeng tucked in the edges of each sleeping bag and wrote in his log: "Today, the children fell asleep among the stars. It turns out the best cradle in the universe is the breath of family." Flying Towards the Unknown You (4)
Act Two: Dinner in Weightlessness The first night in space was spent in laughter. Weightlessness, like a mischievous magician, turned dinner into a game. Dried strawberries escaped their sealed bag, floating leisurely around the cabin; Zhou Zhou chased a pea for three full circles before finally opening his mouth wide and 'catching' it in mid-air. “Mom, look! I can fly!” An An kicked his feet, only to be scooped into Lu Jiashu’s arms. “Little astronaut, please fasten your seatbelt,” his doctor father said with mock seriousness. “The only law in this cabin is not to bump into Mom.” Bai Xiaofeng, in zero gravity, was combing the children’s hair. Strands floated up like seaweed, so she casually styled Le Le’s ponytail into a blooming flower. “In space,” she said with a smile, “even your hair wants to be free.” Xia Yuchen floated to the porthole and suddenly grew quiet. Outside, Earth was slowly turning, like a blue eye gazing at them. The edge of the atmosphere had a thin line of light, as if someone had traced it lightly on black velvet with a fluorescent pen. “Yiheng, come here,” she said softly. He floated over, standing beside her. Their four hands overlapped, reflected on the window glass, merging with the blue planet behind them. “Ten years of marriage,” he said, “I’ve taken you to the seaside, to snow-capped mountains.” “Neither compares to here,” she replied. “Here, we’re just one step away from the stars.” (To be continued)

Flying Towards the Unknown You (3)
Act 1: The Silver Poem Takes Flight "Ten, nine, eight——" The hands of four children quietly formed a line inside the cabin: Lele held Xiaoxing's hand, Xiaoxing held An'an's, and An'an cupped Zhouzhou's small hand in her palm. "Three, two, one. Ignition." A roar rose from beneath their feet, like a thousand gentle giants singing in unison below the horizon. The entire spacecraft trembled lightly, then, slowly and firmly, lifted off the ground. It wasn't a violent surge, but a solemn ascent. The rocket seemed to be gently pulled by the sky, rising inch by inch. The launch tower outside the porthole grew smaller, the highway thinned into silver threads, and the lakes shrank into blue mirrors. "Dad!" Xiaoxing suddenly shouted, "We're stepping on the clouds!" Indeed, layers of clouds spread out beneath the cabin, gilded with orange-red edges by the afterglow. Bai Xiaofeng softly recited a poem she had written for her students: "We are not leaving home, We are going, for everyone, To see what the end of dreams looks like." Xia Yuchen watched the horizon gradually curve outside the window, her eyes growing warm. She had studied the starry sky her entire life, and now, second by second, it was welcoming her and her family into its embrace. Ji Yiheng wrapped his arms around her from behind: "Don't cry, astronomer." "I'm not crying," she sniffled, "It's just that the stars are too bright." (To be continued)
