歡樂慢跑 Run for Fun!

Today, although we didn't cover the distance we originally planned, I have no regrets. On the way back to school, we chatted non-stop—talking about majors, events, sports... and got to know each other bit by bit through laughter. Turns out, running together can be such a joyful thing. We bonded through running together, coming from different backgrounds. Next time, we've promised to do a campus run together, so everyone can continue to move forward step by step in a comfortable atmosphere.

Vehicles come and go, and today, I'm still running on the same road. "Do you like running?" "No, I don't. But I just can't stop." It started as a way to prove my self-discipline, and now it's become a daily routine. With familiar steps, I begin to notice the details that are usually filtered out by sweat and breathing. The road is never the same; the branches of the old trees lining the street quietly sprout new green between a few sunsets and sunrises. The traffic is still rushing, pedestrians come and go in a hurry, and the world's clock keeps ticking without a moment's pause. And I, at my own pace, am moving in sync with this city.

Running is truly a process of experiencing solitude... During my walk and rest after finishing, several couples passed by. Suddenly, I was reminded of a conversation with my friend during class. "Aish! I really want a girlfriend~". He complained to me back then, who knew nothing about how to get a girlfriend. All I could do was throw him information I found online.

Running can be lonely, it can be joyful, or it can be... Tonight, I arranged a road run with two classmates. Come to think of it, 'running with others' has been a rarity for me since I enrolled, even before that. Running has always just been a way for me to escape loneliness. "Haha! This really feels like《Hunter》, chasing you!" Weaving through the interplay of streetlights and car headlights, my junior, panting heavily behind me, shouted. "Are you talking about 《Hunter × Hunter》?" Hearing him say that, I felt it was indeed quite similar. It's a route I've run countless times, yet I'd never made that connection before. They don't usually run much, so this might have been a novel experience for them; and for me, on this familiar path, I seemed to be experiencing an ineffable new feeling. After running a kilometer, we started heading back. They fell behind a few times along the way, and in the end, I completed today's goal alone……

It's been a while since I've logged in, and I was surprised to see how much the environment has changed. So, I happily created this community! Allow me to introduce myself: I'm a student at a certain university in Taichung, Taiwan, and running has been a habit I've cultivated since middle school. During this process, I can clear my mind and forget all the unhappy and frustrating things. But as much as I love running, I've never actually participated in any marathon competitions.
