I can't seem to climb the ranks in the battlefield. Can anyone teach me how to do it?

I feel like this season is really tough. Playing in Platinum lobbies feels like playing in Star lobbies right now. I get that a lot of people dropped from Legendary rank, but it shouldn't still be this hard after a few days, right? I'm trying hard to climb to Diamond, and I hope the matchmaking system stops messing with me.
