Delicious Afternoon Tea ~ 85°C's "Dirty Bag" Makes a Strong Comeback ~ Limited Store Sales

85°C is holding a "Dirty Bag Renaissance" event, bringing back the classic "Chocolate Dirty Bag" that was a huge hit back in the day, and introducing a specially developed and improved "Purple Sweet Potato Dirty Bag" to join the lineup. Both are officially available starting today [November 5, 2026] at select stores across Taiwan. I was so happy when I saw this news~~ because the chocolate dirty bag is delicious, and luckily the 85°C store near me sells it! Right after lunch today, I rushed to 85°C to buy one~ I luckily got the "Chocolate Dirty Bag", it costs 58 NTD. They also had the Purple Sweet Potato Dirty Bag there~ but I was more interested in the chocolate one😆 While waiting in line to pay, I saw someone buy the last 3 long egg tarts at once~ impressive. ☕️ Afternoon Tea Time I paired it with "Unsweetened Green Tea" from the "Instant Drink" selection I bought at Hi-Life. Because I was afraid it would be too sweet🤭 🍫 Chocolate Dirty Bag: Made with a Danish pastry base, coated with chocolate sauce on the outside and generously dusted with cocoa powder (the culprit for the "dirty" name😆). To avoid getting my hands messy, I initially tried to pick it up with chopsticks, but my technique wasn't good, so I gave up. If it gets dirty, it gets dirty~ I can always wash my hands in the restroom anyway😆 One bite and it brought back so many memories!! That's the taste~~ The cocoa powder on the outside and the chocolate in the middle are perfectly balanced, sweet and bitter but not cloying. The Danish pastry is very fluffy and delicious. One bite of the dirty bag and a sip of unsweetened green tea~ perfect. It didn't get soggy at all from buying it at noon until eating it in the afternoon. Online reviews say the texture gets soft and it's not as good if left for too long. They recommend reheating it. Alright~ I'm done eating, time to go wash my hands.
