Why is the ping constantly spiking in Legends?

No issues with other games, but it suddenly started spiking these past few days. My download speed is around 2MB, so it's basically not related to the internet. I've tried everything I could think of, even cleared data and reinstalled. What's going on? Has anyone else encountered this?
