Chatting about the webtoon 'Mercenary Enrollment' 🏫🪖

A Korean webtoon currently being serialized on Taiwan LINE WEBTOON. It was announced in 2025 that it will be animated, but the broadcast time hasn't been revealed yet. I'm still waiting 🤣 The story is about the protagonist, Yu Ijin, who was presumed dead after a plane crash in his childhood. In reality, he survived abroad as a mercenary. Ten years later, he finally returns to Korea, reunites with his grandfather and younger sister, and restarts his life as an ordinary high school student. I really like this one! The art style is great, and the story is very exciting. The plot unfolds piece by piece, gradually involving campus events, bodyguard work, Ijin's past, and other storylines. Ijin is truly handsome and cute 🥰 He's super strong and calm during fights, never hesitating to throw a punch, but at home, he's a super gentle and good brother and grandson to his sister and grandfather. Also, because he's been detached from normal society since he was young, he sometimes lacks common sense in daily life. Like not being able to easily open convenience store triangle kimbap, and getting really happy when he eats it 🤣 This kind of 'maxed out combat skills, but a bit lacking in life knowledge' contrast is so adorable! I'm currently at chapter 159, and I've quietly accumulated over a hundred more chapters to catch up 😂 I should really catch up on the progress someday, and continue looking forward to new news about the anime!
