A Little Knowledge (豆知識)
Did you know that Japanese phones have a shutter sound when you take a picture, and you can't turn it off? This is because Japan has issues with 'chikan' (groping/harassment) and upskirting, so the camera sound is meant to effectively deter such behavior👍 Related words: Smartphone: スマートフォン (can be shortened to スマホ) Upskirting/Spycam photos: 盗撮 (tousatsu) / 隠し撮り (kakushidori) Pervert/Groper: 痴漢 (chikan) Suspicious person: 不審者 (fushinsha) Crime: 犯罪 (hanzai) Upskirting is a crime 😉
