Scared the fur off

“Up ahead… that’s Dey’s lair! We’ve really arrived!” Shami whispered, pointing to a dark tree hollow in front. “Be careful, let’s go check it out!” Ryruka cautiously tightened his claws and moved forward, holding his breath. However, as they nervously approached the tree hollow, the sight that greeted them instantly froze them in place. Sitting at the entrance was a disheveled demon king with dark circles under his eyes, exuding a strange, eerie aura. “Dey…?” Shami rubbed his eyes, hardly daring to believe it. The next second, the two got a clear look at Dey’s “glorious” appearance up close: his face was smeared with hideous dark purple eyeshadow, his cheeks were rouged like a monkey’s backside, and he even had a pair of shockingly plump sausage lips! “Ahhhhhh?! Dey…!!” “What… what happened to him? Why… why do you look like this?!” “It’s a ghost!” The two screamed, their eyeballs nearly popping out, their cries echoing through the entire forest. But in response to the earth-shattering screams, the “heavily made-up demon king” lying at the cave entrance merely moved his lips slightly, letting out snores (ZZZ). He was actually still asleep. “Ahhhhhhh!!! It’s Dey—!! He’s sleeping!!” Ryruka wailed, clutching his head. “Wha… still sleeping… is that… really not a ghost…?” Shami trembled all over, his teeth chattering. Seeing that even in his sleep, the demon king’s incredibly impactful makeup radiated a destructive pressure, the two completely lost the courage to play with Dey. “Let’s go, let’s go! It’s too scary!!”
