Chatting about the anime "The World of Fantasy" 🫧🌿

Based on the light novel created by Roy, with the manga version illustrated by Ranran. The first season of the anime aired in 2020, and the second season in 2023, totaling 24 episodes. The story follows Ryoma Takebayashi, a 39-year-old office worker, who dies and is reincarnated into an isekai world of swords and magic, blessed by three gods. He lives alone in the forest, raising over a thousand slimes, until one day he encounters a ducal family, gradually beginning a new life of interacting with people. I binged both seasons in one go at first 💪 Overall, it's very slice-of-life, with no frequent monster-slaying or leveling-up plots. The protagonist is already strong but dedicates much of his effort to researching and nurturing slimes. I particularly enjoyed him researching various new slime species, discovering their different abilities, and then applying his research findings to his daily life. Also, despite having many characters, they don't feel cluttered. Ryoma meets and interacts with all sorts of people, as naturally as we meet different people when we do different things in real life. While there aren't particularly thrilling plot points, watching Ryoma spend his isekai days with various companions is unexpectedly fun and healing 🥰 Recommended for those who enjoy heartwarming, leisurely isekai slice-of-life works 😁
