Bellachi's Debt Collection Part 2

By the stream, the elegant white weasel, Dai, was crouched by the water. He decided to take advantage of the dead of night, when no one was around, to properly remove the heavy and flamboyant makeup from his face. He dipped his paws in the stream and rubbed his cheeks, and the originally delicate lines immediately blurred with the water, turning into a disastrous mess of black and purple splotches. Just then, a flurry of hurried footsteps erupted from behind the bushes! The cute squirrel Bellachi, wearing a small cloak, suddenly burst out, waving her tiny fists and shouting aggressively, "Now! Give me back my gold coins—!" Hearing the commotion, Dai turned his head with a puzzled expression. In that instant, time seemed to freeze. What appeared before Bellachi's eyes was hardly the dashing white weasel she usually saw? It was clearly a "super extremely terrifying ghost face" with sunken black eyes, purple lips, and smeared makeup resembling bloodstains all over its face! "Yaaahhh—!" Bellachi's eyes widened in terror, her pupils trembling. She immediately slipped, falling heavily to the ground with a "thump," and tumbled down the slope several times. After rolling to the bottom with a "gurgle gurgle," she scrambled to her feet, tears streaming from her eyes, and fled headlong into the depths of the forest, her screams piercing the night sky: "What kind of demon is thissssss—!" The stream was suddenly restored to a deathly silence. Dai maintained his turned-head posture, his head filled with endless question marks. He blinked innocently, completely clueless as to what had happened. Finally, he let out a soft sigh, picked up a wet towel, and continued to quietly wipe the remaining makeup from his face.
