((Data Consolidation Re-upload)) Store-bought Soy Milk Doesn't Spoil Because It Has Preservatives??

Faced with such questions, the immediate thought is often that packaged soy milk contains "preservatives" so it lasts a long time, or that the freshly ground soy milk from market stalls is "healthier." But.... is that really the case😊? Let me tell you🤓 **Legally, preservatives are not allowed in soy milk, and violators face fines of 3 to 30 million KRW.** The significant difference in shelf life mainly comes down to two key factors: "sterilization methods" and "filling and packaging": 1. Difference in Sterilization Temperature and Time Market soy milk is typically processed by "heating and boiling." While this kills most pathogenic bacteria, it cannot completely eliminate highly heat-resistant spores, and prolonged boiling at high temperatures doesn't achieve a completely sterile state. Convenience store soy milk often uses high-temperature sterilization technology, rapidly killing microbes in seconds at temperatures above 130°C, effectively reducing the number of microorganisms and spores to a very low level. 2. Filling Environment and Packaging Material After being boiled, market soy milk is often cooled and bagged in an open environment, making it highly susceptible to "secondary contamination" from airborne bacteria and droplets. Convenience store soy milk operates under a "sterile filling system" combined with multi-layer composite barrier packaging, thoroughly blocking light, oxygen, and microbial invasion. Furthermore, if market soy milk is not refrigerated below 7°C immediately after cooling, residual bacteria will rapidly multiply and break down proteins, causing the soy milk to turn sour, clump, and spoil. Convenience store soy milk, thanks to strict, continuous cold chain logistics and sterile sealing, can achieve long-term preservation.

Seriously, I'd be curious too. Why doesn't it spoil as easily? The soy milk I buy and don't finish goes sour.

When I first started drinking store-bought soy milk, there was a saying. They said it was made from soy powder, that it tasted bad, wasn't pure. But I don't think the ones that advertised 'freshly ground' were any better... So I just kept drinking it. Then later, 'extra thick' soy milk came out, oh man I loved it and drank it every day. And now the doctor has forbidden me from drinking soy milk. Sad...呜呜呜

Thanks for sharing, I only just found out! No preservatives 🤣 Ever since I started drinking the 5.0 extra thick soy milk from Quanlian, I feel like other soy milks are watered down, especially the ones sold at breakfast places. They're basically just water.
