Rabbit Facts
• No Sweat Glands or Menstruation: Rabbits have no sweat glands on their bodies and primarily dissipate heat in the summer through the capillaries in their long ears. They are induced ovulators, meaning they only ovulate during mating, thus they do not have menstrual cycles and have a very high chance of getting pregnant. • Continuously Growing Teeth: A rabbit's incisors grow continuously throughout their lives. They must constantly chew on hay or wood to wear them down, otherwise, their teeth will become overgrown.

On October 26, 1597, during the Imjin War (Korean: Imjin Waeran; Japanese: Bunroku-Keicho War), Korean Admiral Yi Sun-sin, utilizing the narrow geographical environment of the Myeongnyang Strait along with its special tides and currents, repelled over 130 Japanese warships led by Todo Takatora with just twelve 'panokseon' (turtle ship-like vessels). This battle is known as the Great Victory at Myeongnyang. The victory at the Battle of Myeongnyang effectively cut off Japanese supplies to Jiksan-eup, ultimately leading to the Japanese withdrawal from the Korean Peninsula. Why is a shrimp's heart in its head?
A shrimp's heart is located in its head (specifically, within the cephalothorax, near the stomach and digestive glands). • Body Structure: Shrimp have a fused head and thorax called a 'cephalothorax,' with their major organs concentrated in the front half of their body. • Open Circulatory System: Shrimp don't have a complex network of blood vessels. Their heart is situated directly in the cephalothorax, responsible for pumping blood from the head to the rest of the body and appendages.

Capybara
• Eating their own poop: Because grass is difficult to digest, their droppings are rich in microorganisms and crude protein, so they eat their own feces for "secondary digestion and absorption." • Water masters: They can hold their breath underwater for up to 5 minutes, with their eyes, ears, and nostrils located high on their heads. Diving, escaping predators, mating, and even sleeping while floating on the water are all done in the water.

Toothpaste
Toothpaste cleans by the abrasive action of the toothbrush combined with the cleaning agents in the paste. If you don't wet your toothbrush and just put toothpaste on it, slowly brushing will gradually create fine foam, maximizing the toothpaste's cleaning power.

Chapped Lips
Chapped lips are mainly caused by a lack of sebaceous gland protection, rapid moisture loss, dry and cold weather, frequently licking your lips with your tongue, mouth breathing, or deficiencies in B vitamins and iron. It's recommended to soften dead skin with a warm water compress, then apply a thick layer of pure petroleum jelly to lock in moisture. Avoid tearing or licking them off forcefully. Common Causes • Environment & Habits: Prolonged exposure to air conditioning, cold winds, excessive sun exposure, or habitually licking/biting lips and breathing through the mouth. • Physiological & Nutritional Factors: Insufficient body hydration, deficiencies in B vitamins (like B2, B6, B12) and iron, or taking certain medications (e.g., oral isotretinoin). • Pathological Factors: Causing cheilitis, angular cheilitis, or allergic contact dermatitis. First Aid & Daily Care Strategies • Proper Moisturization: Choose a lip balm without fragrances or minty irritants, or apply a thick layer of pure petroleum jelly to create a protective barrier. • Warm Water Compress: If you have dead skin, gently soften it with a warm water compress or a warm towel. Do not forcibly tear it off with your hands, as this can cause bleeding. • Break Bad Habits: Avoid licking your lips with saliva, as evaporation will take away more moisture from your lips. • Dietary Supplementation: Increase intake of foods rich in B vitamins and iron (e.g., dark leafy greens, egg yolks, whole grains, lean meats). • When to Seek Medical Help: If chapped lips, redness, or blisters persist for more than two weeks without improvement, consult a dermatologist.
