A Taste of School Days~ Still Warming My Heart
A share from Shulin, New Taipei City (with admin's permission) This stall has no name, but it's located right across from Shulin Junior High/Senior High School and still exists today. It's quite an old shop. The owner is a single mother auntie who always worries that students don't have enough money to eat their fill. She hasn't really raised her prices much even now. I usually love large intestine vermicelli soup, but the large size has gone up to 70 NTD, and I can't afford to eat it anymore 😞. I came back here looking for the taste of my memories. A large bowl of pork vermicelli soup is only 40 NTD, and if you want to add intestines, they give you a ton for just 5 NTD. This bowl will truly fill you up. While it might not be the most gourmet taste, it has the auntie's abundant love for the students and her friendly greetings, which are the best flavors in my memory. I hope the auntie stays healthy and continues to look after the younger students. If you ever pass by Shulin Junior High/Senior High, remember to grab a bowl of heartwarming vermicelli soup! PS: There are also pan-fried buns for 5 NTD nearby!

The boss gave a lot~ Thanks for the recommendation! There was a place in Kaohsiung that opened not too long ago, and they had a noodle soup with char siu~ The broth had a strong bonito flavor! I really liked it~ Unfortunately, it closed down shortly after opening QQ (I guess the rent near the MRT station was too expensive)
