K-Drama Recommendation: "Maybe I'll Be Slightly Spicy Today"
Starring: Han Suk-kyu, Kim Seo-hyung, Jin Ho-eun Episodes: 12 episodes total "Maybe I'll Be Slightly Spicy Today" (Korean: 오늘은 좀 매울지도 몰라, also translated as "Recipe for Farewell") Adapted from the autobiographical essay collection by Korean humanist and writer Kang Chang-rae, the Chinese edition is titled "Wife, Maybe I'll Be Slightly Spicy Today: Cooking for My Terminally Ill Wife." Synopsis: A middle-aged couple, who had agreed to divorce and were living separately, faces a countdown to life when the wife, Da-jeong (played by Kim Seo-hyung), is diagnosed with terminal colon cancer. Da-jeong asks her husband, Chang-wook (played by Han Suk-kyu), to stay by her side and take care of her. Chang-wook, who usually only knows how to make instant noodles and never cooks, readily agrees and begins to personally prepare every anti-cancer healing meal for his wife. Through the warm intentions in each meal, the couple gradually resolves the long-accumulated friction and indifference, rediscovering their family's cohesion and deep emotions as they face life and death together.

Reading this story really touched my heart. Cooking for a loved one with your own hands, that affection must surely be conveyed to them. Thank you for sharing such a heartwarming drama, I'd love to watch it when I get the chance.

There are quite a few good works with the theme of marriage. Also, I'll mention that my wife pretends to be dead every day when I get home.
