On impulse, I gave him the address of the new place my cousin had found for me. Upon hearing it, the driver's smile vanished. He glanced at me strangely through the rearview mirror, hesitating to speak. "What's wrong?" I asked, puzzled. The driver took a deep breath and lowered his voice.
