Pompo's Prank 2

The water gun battle by the pool had just ended when Pompo, dazed by Sammy's fierce spray, sank gurgling into the water. Standing on the shore, Sammy declared dominantly, "This is the price for 'waking you up'!" The next day, Pompo lay slumped over the desk, staring at their small toy gun that posed no threat whatsoever, resentment growing with every thought. "I lost so badly yesterday... I need 'more firepower' to get revenge!" Pompo clenched their little fists and began sketching out their revenge plan on paper. "But it looks like my savings aren't enough to buy a 'Super Gatling Water Gun'...". Pompo counted the allowance in their pockets, their ears drooping in frustration. Just as they sighed, feeling that this water gun war was far from over, a cold chuckle suddenly echoed from across the pool. Pompo looked up to see Sammy elegantly seated in a lounge chair, with a massive, military-grade water cannon set up beside them! Sammy smirked, a playful glint in their eyes, "Heh heh, next time, I'll upgrade to the 'Ionized Water Cannon'...". Seeing the heavy equipment, several times larger than Pompo's own body, Pompo's mouth twitched slightly. It seemed their wallet had completely lost this arms race.
