Nark's Hunt Completed

On the extremely cold, frozen plateau, the piglet Laidi was darting through the rock crevices, with volcanic smoke billowing in the distance. "If I can just get through this canyon, I can escape him! Almost there, almost there!" A sharp tearing sound of frost ripping through the air came from behind—the Ice Wolf Nark had already sealed off the canyon exit. A giant ice wall rose from the ground, its crystalline shards reflecting the despair in the prey's eyes. "Damn it! The ice wall!" "There's no way out now, little one." Nark's deep growl drifted with the cold air. A pale blue magic circle condensed in his palm, and frozen chains snaked out like serpents, quickly wrapping around Laidi's legs. The piglet let out a muffled grunt, unable to move. "I'm done for... I'm going to be frozen solid!" "In the name of the Ice Lord... Laidi, you are now my prey." Nark slowly paced forward, his gaze cold and focused. Without hesitation, he bared his sharp fangs and bit down firmly on Laidi's hindquarters, subduing it securely. Beneath the scorching volcanic dust, the Ice Lord, with his prize in his jaws, disappeared into the vast snowfield. This is the law of the wild, an eternal and cruel cycle of predation.
