Huntsman Spider (White-browed Tall-legged Spider / Taiwanese: 喇牙)
I saw a shocking video on Twitter yesterday of a Japanese person posting about a huntsman spider eating a cockroach. I took a look at the comments and found many Japanese users saying 'The 'gunso' (軍曹) got eaten.' After looking it up, I realized they call huntsman spiders 'gunso' 🤣 Apparently, the reason they call them 'gunso' is because huntsman spiders are beneficial insects that specialize in eating cockroaches and have high combat prowess, hence the respectful title 'gunso.' I found it quite interesting, so I wanted to share it with you all here 😂

Geckos, which are beneficial insects, are as terrifying as cockroaches.

Eating is one thing, but my pet eats spider webs, lizards, and even those big shiny cockroaches. It licks mold off the walls and chews on broom bristles too. I'm just like ????
