Seeing your dilemma made me nervous too! If you really can't decide, you could prioritize keeping the ones with special decorations or your absolute favorites. Maybe try letting go of duplicates or those with lower affinity first. It's tough, but that's how you make space for new companions!

If you have gold coins, you can consider upgrading your Pikmin capacity at the shop. That way, you can have lots and lots of Pikmin!

Did your Pipi transform? If it did, you can release duplicate Pipis afterwards. If you have a Pipi with a special accessory, you need to collect a full set (one of each of the eight colored Pipis). Then, you can release duplicate Pipis to accumulate experience, allowing the collected Pipis to transform into special-grade Pipis again.
