Okinawa Trip!

Yay, going abroad is always fun! I absolutely love buying Japanese goods, so I make sure to visit Japan every year. Because of that, I haven't been to any other countries yet XD This is my third time visiting Okinawa, but I had a lot of first-time experiences! When I first went, I was a broke student and relied almost entirely on buses. However, I stayed at a hotel that I still think is quite luxurious. Back then, I planned a lot of itineraries that weren't very practical, like planning to go to a distant, free-entry ruin in the central part of the island, then getting off halfway to eat Okinawan soba, and then missing the next bus and walking for half an hour to the ruin, haha. My travel companion was so annoyed they didn't want to talk to me XD The second time I went, I drove myself! And my companion crashed the car, luckily we had full insurance haha. This time, I bought a one-day tour package and finally went to the aquarium, which I couldn't visit before! I also experienced a Japanese karaoke place. What's special about it is that it has a dedicated section for anime songs, so we didn't have to search for songs using broken romaji or kana XD But since I only know the melody and not Japanese, I basically sang according to my imagination. My companion kept laughing beside me, but since the scoring is based on pitch accuracy, I got over 80 points on every song haha. This trip also marked a milestone: the checked baggage weight limit was 20kg, and I filled it to exactly 20.0kg!! I laughed so hard I immediately took a picture to commemorate it haha. Every trip is an unforgettable memory, and I always look forward to the next journey 😇
