Pikmin

Every afternoon, when my phone buzzes, reminding me it's time to go out for a walk, I know my little green and red teammates are waiting for me. I've been playing 'Pikmin Bloom' for a while now. At first, it was just a healthy little tool to encourage myself to walk more; but over time, watching the little creatures on the screen wobble their flower tops and follow me with their short steps, a strange sense of companionship gradually grew in my heart. They always follow me at their purest pace. Whether my mood is good or bad today, whether my steps are fast or slow, they never complain, just stick by my side. Sometimes, walking into alleys and seeing them excitedly pick up a small flower or bring back a blueberry-like fruit, I realize that I've become accustomed to being rushed and hurried, missing so many subtle scenes around me. The greenness of old trees, the gradually layering sunset sky in the twilight, became clear and gentle as I slowed my pace. Life is sometimes heavy, like the Pikmin carrying huge objects in the game. We always take on too much responsibility, walk slowly, and feel tired. But looking back at them, falling down and getting up again, working together to carry things home, makes me can't help but laugh. It turns out, life doesn't need to be walked too fast. As long as there are scenery worth remembering by your side, and a few simple and cute little companions like Pikmin, you can bloom fully even in ordinary days, stepping forward one by one on the ground.
