Differences Between Investing in 0050 and 0056 for Stock Savings
If you want fast asset growth, choose 0050. If you want passive income, choose 0056. Of course, 0056 will also grow assets. Buying both is even better. Only children make choices. After buying, if you feel your assets are growing too slowly, buy 0050. If you feel your passive income is too low, buy 0056. You are the one who decides everything. So your feelings are the most important. If you're not happy with your purchase, you won't hold it for too long. Let me give you a personal example: I hold 0056, 878, and 919. Getting monthly dividends is awesome. Someone said they get paid every three months, but isn't it the same if you distribute it yourself or receive it monthly? So, to pursue high passive income, I sold 0056 and 878 and went all-in on 919, which has the highest dividend yield. That is, getting the most passive income with the least amount of money. But after only three months, I realized this approach wasn't for me. Waiting three months is too long. It feels bad when I receive dividends, and then only half a month or a month later, I suddenly receive the next dividend. So, I reduced my position in 919 and am preparing to buy back into 0056 and 00878. Therefore, buying what makes you happy is the most important thing. Some people might wonder why the topic always revolves around using 0056's dividends and selling stocks for 0050. Doesn't 0050 also issue dividends? Why not use 0050's dividends for overseas travel? If you could rely on 0050's dividends for passive income, you would need about 24 million [currency unit] to receive 32,000 [currency unit] per month. For the same 32,000 [currency unit] per month with 0056, you only need 6.8 million [currency unit], assuming you don't sell any stocks.

It's okay if you don't understand when buying ETFs. Normally, I recommend learning to look at fundamentals and P/E ratios to pick stocks. It'll be much better than ETFs.
