Wage Increase
After nearly 8 hours of intense discussion, the Ministry of Labor has approved a 4.745% increase in the minimum wage for next year. The monthly wage will be raised to NT$30,900, and the hourly wage to NT$205. The Ministry of Economic Affairs stated that they will promptly research and implement support measures for related industries. My salary never gets adjusted. Should I be happy or sad? Are prices going to skyrocket again!?
