Fun. - We Are Young ft. Janelle Monáe

This song was super popular back in the day. I really liked the vocalist's tone and the beat was so catchy, it made me want to hum along! Lyrics Translation: Hey everyone, wait up for me, I, I need to gather my thoughts and sort things out first. All my buddies are hiding in the bathroom right now, higher than the Empire State Building from all the fun. And my lover, at this very moment, is sitting at the other end of the bar, coldly waiting for me. My seat's already taken by some slick dude in sunglasses, who's cluelessly asking about my scars. I know very well that the unhealable wound in your heart was carved by my own hand months ago. I also know you've been trying desperately to completely forget this painful past. But between these few shots of strong liquor and the subtle atmosphere flowing around the venue, My apologies, full of holes and insincere, You actually understand, don't you? This time, I genuinely (f***ed up and) want to take back all those hurtful words from back then. So, if by the time the bar closes and everyone's leaving, You're so drunk you can't stand, feeling like you're about to fall, Don't worry, I'll definitely carry you home on my back. Just tonight, We are still young. So, let's set this damn world on fire with a wild blaze. The light we emit will surely be brighter than the sun in the sky. Just tonight, We are still full of youthful energy. So, let's burn this world down without holding back. Our burning life's light will surely be hotter than the sun.
