Moonlight Lover - Coco Lee (To the Eternal Diva in My Heart)
This song is the Chinese theme song for the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, directed by Ang Lee. It was the song (English version) Coco Lee first performed on the Oscars stage, and she was the first Asian singer to stand on that stage, making it a very memorable song. The qipao Coco wore in the show's video was the very same one from the Oscars ceremony. This show was also her first stage performance after recovering from losing her voice. Remembering Coco Lee through the moonlight, I don't remember the first song I heard by Coco, but I will always remember her bright smile and her strong, optimistic personality. Sadly, I will never see her perform live again. Actually, rather than a recommendation, this is more of a remembrance. She could sing and dance, mastering both ballads and upbeat songs, and her vocal skills were beyond compare. Too many great songs to list - Good Mood (好心情): A song full of summer's excitement, it makes me happy the moment I hear it. Hint (暗示): Perfectly captures the intricate feelings of secret crushes and ambiguity. Di Da Di: Lively and cute, with Coco Lee sporting red hair. Color (顏色): Inspirational. After Winter (過完冬季): A very sweet longing. True Lover (真情人): Very dynamic. Can or Can't (能不能): The theme song for a TV drama, filled with deep emotion. I'm Still Your Lover (我依然是你的情人): An early hit song, very sad. Dao Ma Dan (刀馬旦): A collaboration with Jay Chou, uniquely blending different vocal styles and languages. Self (自己): The theme song for Mulan, about the courage to face oneself bravely. When you think of Coco Lee, which song comes to mind?

AuthorLyrics: Yi Jia Yang Composer: Tan Dun / Jorge Calandrelli "Moonlight Lover" - Coco Lee I wake up, sleeping in the moonlight The waning moon makes me think of you I don't want to wake up, who understands? Afraid to open my eyes and you're not there My love's heart sinks into the sea Take me there to find it Please love me for ten thousand years Love me with all your heart (Love is a gift from the moonlight, I'm waiting for an angel's love letter) (Say you love me) I'm willing to sleep for love, don't wake me up Does eternity exist or not? Is it my heart that can't let go? Polaris, take me away Don't hide, bring love back I love you every night I'm waiting (for you), my heart Sleeping in the sea of the moon for love Who does this lonely me miss? Who understands? (I shed tears under the moonlight, and sleep under the moonlight too) (No regrets) Waiting for a true love to kiss me awake (A day in my dreams is a year in my memories) (Say you love me) I'm willing to sleep for love Forever
