However, my personal classic is "Lion," the third opening theme from "Macross Frontier." I first heard the original soundtrack version while searching for something else, and after listening to a few tracks, I ended up buying the soundtrack first. Including Maaya Sakamoto's OP1, May'n's insert song, and Megumi Nakajima's commercial song "Nyan Nyan"... there's so much I want to recommend, but I'll start with "Lion." Setting aside the ambiguous love triangle chorus from the show, I personally prefer May'n's solo interpretation.
