Da-iCE - CITRUS/Aranarumei ver.

Recommending this song on a dreary start-of-work day Da-iCE - CITRUS Lyrics: Daiki Kudo, Sota Hanmura Music: Kaz Kuwamura, Shogo Nakayama Arrangement: Shogo Nakayama, TomoLow This song mainly borrows the characteristic of citrus, "the more it gets hurt, the stronger its fragrance becomes," to sing about a firm vow of someone who will never let go and become stronger through adversity in order to protect their ordinary happiness, even when facing ridicule from others and the storms of reality. (Excerpted from Google) Original: https://youtu.be/LgJhXgnolc0 ------ I've loved the melody since the first time I heard this song, especially the feeling of determination when the chorus sings, "I decided I wouldn't let go, that's what I said I wanted to protect." While the original two main vocalists are already super amazing, the three-part harmony makes the overall listening experience even richer. It's my favorite version among the many I've heard on YouTube, even surpassing the original singers. However, since they recorded it just for fun (the three of them recorded separately without discussing lyric distribution, and one person was responsible for integrating it), there's no full version 🙂
