Main content: Novel (Changpei Literature) > Radio Drama (Manpo) > Audiobook (Maoer FM/Changpei) = All completed Manga + Wish Pool (bonus side stories) = Copyright expired, updates stopped. Currently only available on Kuaikan app. [Minor Spoilers] Teacher Linqian's breakout work is "Mermaid Fall". She excels at writing fantasy settings + strong pairings + ensemble casts. I love every single pairing so far, each with their own dedicated story (the teacher also tries her best to flesh out side stories). Unfortunately, it's not popular domestically ヾ(•ω•`)o (Another one I've followed for nearly 16 years, "Special Force" by author Hu Xuan, is also good at fleshing out side stories, but it's not well-received domestically + has had many twists and turns). The story's direction involves humans developing experimental subjects for war and profit. This was hinted at in "Drooping Ears Butler," but back then, it was just a quick attempt at writing a melodramatic story 🤣 It wasn't until "Mermaid Fall" that the world-building + detailed settings were seriously written. Under Linqian's pen, the protagonists can only compete over who has suffered more (•_•), although they all get happy endings later... But still~ CPs that save each other are the best!! This song depicts Lanbo forgetting the pain of the past, while Bai Chunian's physical condition deteriorates. "You're always staring at what you haven't gotten." "You need to cherish it." Lanbo lowered his eyes, scales reflecting a soft glow on his gentle profile, "Just like I cherish you." Bai Chunian stared at him blankly. -- Lu Yan asked with heartache: "Why can't I let go?" "Letting go means eternal separation. I can't bear it." Lanbo lowered his gaze.
