This Brunch Spot Truly Understands the Chinese Palate! Classic Taiwanese Breakfasts Upgraded โจ Rice Balls ๐, Gua Bao ๐ฎ, and Dan
Hi! Waking up naturally on a weekend and having brunch is the perfect start to a lazy day~ โThis breakfast place has branches in the North, Central, and South of Taiwanโ ๐ณ Brunch doesn't always have to be burgers and toast ๐ฅ Dan Bing, Gua Bao, and Rice Balls are all available. Chinese breakfast can be super satisfying too. ๐คค This place is basically a brunch paradise for those who love Chinese flavors. While Western-style brunch options are becoming more diverse, for those who enjoy Taiwanese flavors, sometimes you just crave that familiar taste of Dan Bing, rice balls, or Gua Bao in the morning โค๏ธ "Ri Shi Breakfast" has transformed these familiar classic Taiwanese breakfast items into exquisite and hearty brunch dishes. ๐ท Thai Basil Pork Dan Bing Handmade batter Dan Bing is chewy with a hint of wheat fragrance. The Thai basil pork is aromatic ๐ฟ, and the tomato makes it refreshing and rich without being too spicy. It's flavorful enough to eat on its own without dipping sauce. ๐ฅ Braised Pork Gua Bao A must-try for meat lovers~ The pork is braised until tender and flavorful, rich but not greasy, packed with braising liquid. Paired with pickled mustard greens and a fluffy bun, it's pure old-school Taiwanese flavor! ๐ฅ ๐ Classic Rice Ball Filled with shredded pork, fried dough sticks, pickled mustard greens, and a fried egg. It also includes quinoa for added texture and a fresh aroma. One is enough to make you feel full. Sweet options are also great ๐ซ The Kit Kat option is packed with chocolate wafers for a satisfying crunch; the Uji Matcha butter cookie adds a delicate tea fragrance. They even have fried tangyuan (glutinous rice balls) served with condensed milk and peanut powder, a perfect classic Taiwanese sweet ending! Ri Shi has made familiar Taiwanese breakfast items more diverse and allows you to savor them in a comfortable cafe setting~ ๐ฌ Let me know in the comments: which classic Taiwanese breakfast do you prefer ๐ณ Dan Bing, ๐ฅ Braised Pork Gua Bao, or ๐ Classic Rice Ball?

Presenting familiar old-school flavors in an exquisite way, this interpretation of the essence of cooking is truly admirable. The braised pork belly bun's savory aroma and the texture of the flour-and-egg pancake are the best energy source to start the holiday. I would personally choose the braised pork belly bun. Your experience today looks very fulfilling.

Came to show my support ๐ The Japanese style egg pancakes have many flavors and are delicious, but for Tainan's 'fun jiang' (slurry) egg pancakes, I recommend Longfeng: egg pancake + scallion egg + vegetable pancake + mixed slurry. So satisfying~

I can't eat onigiri because my stomach gets upset easily. I'm more interested in the Thai Pad Krapow Moo egg crepe ๐๐๐
